Toma and Bouma have completed a number of innovative reviews in economic development, manufacturing and food processing and with leading farmers. These projects typically led to implementation efforts and policy development to help industrial development to expand in the province. Our economic development efforts have allowed us to work with Western Diversification, Economic Development Edmonton, Alberta Government departments, and 9 of Alberta’s REDAs (regional economic development alliances). Many of these projects have been implemented with success. We employ strong project management and communication approaches as these projects often involve several organizations and many people.
